| Metallic Braces - like Ceramic Braces involve brackets and wires being placed on your teeth. Excellent outcomes and results are achieved using this system. This is the treatment option available to our NHS Patients. Patients can also choose different coloured bands each time they have an adjustment to add a personalised 'touch' to their treatment. Appliances - in most instances are removable and can be used as stand alone devices to treat less complex cases or in conjunction with fixed Braces as part of a combined treatment. Retainers - When your active treatment (movement of teeth) has finished you will need to wear retainers. These ensure that your teeth are held and 'locked' into their new position. They represent a crucial part of your treatment and without them your teeth may relapse (move) back into their old position. Retainers can be fixed or removable. |
