FAQ's While Orthodontic treatments are on the increase amongst both adults and children it is seen by some still as a purely cosmetic procdure based around individual desires and aesthetics. Of course one positive outcome from undertaking Orthodontic treatment is that your teeth will be straight and your bite correctly aligned. Bottom line is that you will look different (better). That means you will feel more confident sharing your smile.
We know, based on our many years of experience and the numerous life changing treatments that we have provided our patients that there is more to it than that. The other side to those outcomes is that you will be able to maintain better oral hygiene and not suffer from uneccessary wear and tear (damage) to your teeth. In extreme cases, Orthodontic treatment will stop a clicking and painful jaw or pain and discomfort when eating or chewing or lips and tounge catching on your teeth. |
