Do you Qualify for NHS?Does your child qualify for NHS treatment?
| If your child is under 18 years of age, they will be able to undergo an Orthodontic consultation under the NHS. They may then be eligible to have all of their Orthodontic treatment under the NHS. At the end of the consultation you will be informed if your child is able to undertake their Orthodontic treatment under the NHS. As we have no waiting lists, treatment times for an NHS consultation and then commencement can be between 2-4 weeks. |

In April 2006 a new contract system came into effect in NHS Orthodontics between Orthodontic providers and the PCT's. We have contracts with three PCT's (for our three practice locations) and therefore are able to provide Orthodontics under the NHS. Each child is assessed using a National scoring system. If the assessment score is high enough (based on your child's dental and orthodontic presentation) then they will be eligible for treatment. If their score is not high enough, they may be able to be reviewed in 12 months to see if there has been change in their condition. Otherwise they may be able to undertake Orthodontic treatment Privately - at hugely discounted prices. |
